One great thing to come out of the pandemic is that we’ve made the most of our outside space and created a vibrant beer garden.
Our new beer garden seats around 80 guests and has had a lovely atmosphere ever since it opened.
We now have the large patio covered with heated parasols. Garden Igloos go up for Winter then there is also The Churchill Bothy which provides a private space in which to celebrate.
Tables can be booked by giving us a call on 01904 644456 or by using the beer garden’s online booking tool by clicking here. Whilst reservations are advisable on popular days some tables are held back to be offered on a walk in basis.
We offer tables to seat from 1 to 8 people, larger groups can book multiple tables. We only admit those guests for which we have a seat available. We offer table service in the garden if you wish to order and pay through our app or you are welcome to go to our bar.
Serving Times:
The beer garden will be open from 10.30am until 10pm from Sunday to Thursday nights then open until 10.30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Sundays.
The pizza oven is running every day until 9pm
Everyday our meat and cheese sharing boards are available alongside the pizzas.
Please be aware that we endeavour to keep every guest sheltered and warm from either heaters or the fire pit but this can’t be guaranteed in the garden. Strong winds can mean that we have to wind in the heated parasols on the patio.
These pods are set on decking. They are heated for the colder months and can be hired for up to 8 people to dine and drink in.
The igloos are bookable online . Bookings are for a two and a half hour time slot. A rental fee for the Igloo is charged as a non-refundable payment at the time of booking. This fee for the igloo does not include food and drinks, these are ordered and paid for separately on our beer garden app.
The igloos can also be booked for breakfast or brunch* with bookings taken from 9am until 11.30am each day. For breakfast and brunch there is no hire fee for the igloo but they can only be booked for a minimum of four diners. *Resident guests of the hotel with breakfast included should be aware that the breakfast menu served in the igloos is different the breakfast that they have included which is served in the restaurant.
We also have The Churchill Bothy.
Like the Igloos it seats up to 6 people and is heated for the Winter months. The Bothy is available all year round for private hire.
The Bothy is bookable online . Bookings are for a two and a half hour time slot. A rental fee for the Bothy is charged as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This hire fee for the Bothy does not include food and drinks, these are ordered and paid for separately on our beer garden app.
